how to fetch the record from database which is having duplicate values on a field
I have a table with some fields like
id name
1 abc
2 cba
3 abc
I want to fetch the records which has duplicate values on name field.
I have a user defined function in which I am checking the duplicate values by comparing the value.
If I am doing this, I am finding only one record because it was taking the last record in a while loop.

Using SELECT statement:
SELECT * FROM
Table
GROUP BY name
HAVING COUNT(*) > 1;
Using SELECT DISTINCT statement:
SELECT DISTINCT * FROM
Table
GROUP BY name
HAVING COUNT(*) > 1;
